Tax Efficient Life Insurance Plan
(TELIP)

As
per yesterday's announcement, Legal & General's Tax
Efficient Life Insurance Plan (TELIP) has been withdrawn. We
are still awaiting clarification, especially in relation to
pipeline business. We continue to underwrite these policies in
order to minimise any delay once clarity emerges. However, we
are not issuing acceptance terms at this time to minimise
further confusion for customers.
We
appreciate that this is a difficult time for you and your
customers. We have been urgently and continuously seeking
clarification since the announcement and will communicate with
you again early next week on any
developments. |
