Withdrawal of Tax Efficient Life Insurance Plan (TELIP)

Following the pre-budget announcement yesterday, our pension term assurance product, Tax Efficient Life Insurance Plan (TELIP) has been withdrawn from the market with immediate effect from 6 December 2006.

We are currently clarifying the situation for pipeline business. Until we have this clarification we have stopped putting TELIP policies on risk.  As soon as the situation is clarified, we will send further updates.
