We have increased our Critical Illness Cover medical evidence limits

Legal & General are committed to building confidence in the critical illness market for both adviser and client alike.

We are pleased to announce further increases to our medical evidence limits for contracts that include Critical Illness Cover with effect from Monday 23 July 2007. The changes ensure that our limits continue to be some of the most competitive available.

  • Medical evidence limits have increased for all contracts that include Critical Illness Cover.
  • The new limits apply to applications received by Legal & General on or after 23 July 2007.
  • Tables of the updated Critical Illness Cover medical evidence limits are attached.
  • Online Protection has been updated to accommodate the new limits.

The new limits will not be applied retrospectively to business already submitted to Legal & General.
