Changes to Protection Choices
As
part of Legal & Generals ongoing commitment to improve and
develop our eservices we are continually looking at ways to
improve our technology. We are currently looking at the
submission process for protection business submitted to Legal
& General.
Not all Legal
& General systems used for protection business facilitate
the Protection Choices discount. To link together our existing
technology and develop our offering to you, we need to make
some changes now to improve technology development in the
future.
So what's
changing?
Our experience
shows that the Protection Choices discount is not used in the
sales process and is not seen as a key benefit. Therefore from
23 July 2007 the Protection
Choices discount currently applied to bundled protection sales
through Protection Choices will be
removed.
And how does this impact
you?
New business
All new Protection
Choices quotes completed on or following the 23rd
July 2007 where more than one protection product has been
quoted for in a bundle will not include the discount.
All saved quotes
leading up to and including the 22nd July 2007 will
be honoured for a maximum 30 days as per our current
transitional arrangements. At this point you will either need
to requote or submit an application to Legal &
General.
Therefore the
Protection Choices quotes system available on Adviser
Centre will no longer be available from 23 July
2007.
Existing
business
We will still
continue to offer this discount when your client requires a
top up or alteration to an existing Protection Choices
application. To obtain a quote for an existing Protection
Choices application please contact your usual service team who
will arrange a quotation including the discount for
you.
